K (Fiancé) Visas

 

If you entered or are entering the U.S. with a K visa, as the fiancé, spouse, or dependent of a fiancé(e) or spouse of a U.S. citizen), you may be required to file additional forms before you can get a green card. Depending on your situation, you may need the following:​

 

  • K-1 Visa Petition for Fiancees (I-129F) 

  • Consular Processing (DS-160) of K-1 Visa 

  • Consular Processing of K-2 Visa for children of K-1 Visa beneficiary 

  • K-3 Visa Petition for Spouses (I-130 & I-129F) 

For most filings, the U.S. government charges applicants a fee. The current Petition for Alien Fiance fee is $535. All U.S. government fees are in addition to and separate from fees paid to your attorney, and, are subject to change.
